Pendaftaran Abang None 2023

Abang None Jakarta is the tourism ambassador selection held by Dinas Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Provinsi DKI Jakarta. For the 2023 edition, a website was needed so the candidates could learn about the whole selection and register themselves online.

My role is as a front end engineer using Angular framework, and I am in charge of two main pages.

First, the home page. My job is slicing (changing the image UI in Figma into html, css, and js code) and performance optimization, so the page that contains a lot of content and assets (requirements, materials for the finalists, social media, and partners) still loads fast and stays responsive on every device.

Second, the registration form. This is the most challenging part because the form is long and dynamic, where the candidates can add more than one language skill, interest, academic achievement, non academic achievement, and organization experience. My job is handling that dynamic form, validation of every field (including the conditional ones), image upload (full body photo, close up photo, and 4x6 photo with a maximum size and format restriction), and submitting all of it to the API together with the error and success state handling.
